No, but it’s helpful if the client brings any lab work, ultrasound information, etc. if they have it.
There’s never been anything where Stephanie had to discontinue treatment because there was a question the client didn’t want to answer. Will meet you on your level.
Chart notes (electronic medical records); similar to what doctor or therapist would do. Absolutely confidential; not allowed to share the information unless the client gives written consent; or unless they’re worried about the safety of their life or someone else’s. They do need to chart.
To address their health concerns in a consent, positive, trauma-sensitive, non-judgmental and inclusive environment.

Often has a conversation on the first visit, if for any reason you need to stop seeing me, or there is anything you feel uncomfortable about, that is okay. Complaints could be sent through the mail or dropped through mailbox at clinic.

For 5 years worked at Guelph Community Acupuncture, where saw many trans clients and was a very welcoming environment. About 5% of clientel is trans or queer; and has helped clients through their transitions. Has helped treat challenges that traditional medicine cannot treat. Currently offers virtual/video visits.
