I am a queer therapist with a colorful hearing aid, who is passionate about helping people figure who they are and shout it from the rooftops, no matter their identity. My practice is centered upon self acceptance and understanding what you value, which is why Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is my home base, but I draw from many other modalities.
Being in therapy with me is like walking through a forest. There is no set path, and I let you lead. But I will stop to point out some cool trees and interesting flowers that I think will help you on your way to where you want to go. We can run full force at a problem together or stop and have a picnic if that is what you need that day. And I often use a lot of metaphors, visualization, even drawing to make sure we are on the same page, refer back to the forest for example. I just aim to create an honest space where you feel safe, in control, and aware of your own thoughts and feelings.
I have a unique background in working with queer and gender diverse clients who are struggling to navigate the complex social, educational, and family system that seek to hold them back. Additionally, my practice often is centered around neurodivergent identity such as ADHD or Autism. Being neurodivergent myself has helped me connect to my clients in new and unique ways, but also see things that others often overlook. However, you do not have to be queer or neurodivergent to want to connect with me, often differences can create a great therapeutic space to explore new ideas and everyone can benefit from learning to love themselves. We can use fidgets together in session to work through feelings of inadequacy, coming out, anxiety, depression, or understanding your ever evolving sense of self.
Outside of therapy you will find me rock climbing, ballet dancing, and running dungeons and dragons for my friends. I appreciate the outdoors, noise canceling headphones, and authenticity. I look forward to supporting you on your self love journey.

Hello! I offer virtual counseling and other supports for adults and youth aged 12+. As a white, neurodivergent, trans, genderqueer pagan with a delayed sleep cycle, I’ve created Night Owl Counseling to be the mutually accessible, anti-oppressive, culturally humble, difference-affirming space I’d always wished for myself.
My skillset goes beyond mental health support, because the mind is interconnected with every other part of us. I can also provide life skills coaching, help with accessing other systems, or even develop a long-term plan for your ideal future.
